21-year-old Muskaan Begum from Hyderabad has inspired everyone with her spirit despite coming from a middle-class family and facing social stereotypes. She has obtained Commercial Pilot License (CPL) after taking training from Cape Town, South Africa, making her one of the youngest pilots in the city. Muskaan has not only fulfilled her dream, but by achieving this milestone wearing hijab, she rejected all the arguments which often hinder the progress of girls.
Muskaan was educated in Hyderabad, where she completed her schooling from Narayana School and intermediate from Chaitanya. Before entering the world of aviation, he cleared medical tests in Hyderabad itself and passed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) examinations from V2 Aviation Academy, Khadar Bagh.
flew over 250 hours
After this, when she got a South African visa in 2023, she joined 4 Aviators Flying School in Cape Town. He successfully passed both the theory and practical exams there and also proved his mettle in the CPL checkride. Till now he has flown more than 250 hours and is a legally licensed commercial pilot.

Born in a middle class family, Muskaan has seven members in her family. His father works in Doha, Qatar, while his mother runs a small business. Muskaan says that initially it was a bit difficult to convince the family for this because there were many stereotypes and doubts in the society about girls going into aviation, but in the end she got the full support of her parents.
It must have been a bit of a struggle for her to undergo training in South Africa wearing a hijab, but she remained focused on her goal rather than being influenced by the opinions of others. In his childhood, he had seen a plane near the airport and made himself sit in the cockpit and today that dream has become a reality.
Presently Muskaan is taking instructor training from the same flying school. She plans to work as an instructor there so she can gain more flying hours and experience. She believes that when jobs become available in airline companies, she will be able to join them directly on the basis of her experience. Earlier he had considered aviation as a dream, but now it has become his life.
