BJP made a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in a press conference held on Monday. Party’s national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia alleged that Rahul Gandhi is defaming India by going to foreign soil and conspiring with anti-India forces. He said that this attitude of the Leader of Opposition is against the national interest and it is damaging the image of India.
Rahul Gandhi accused of running anti-India agenda by going abroad
Gaurav Bhatia said that Rahul Gandhi defames India by going to foreign lands and meets anti-India forces. Describing Rahul Gandhi as ‘immature leader of opposition’, he said that during the Parliament session, he goes to Germany and meets personalities like Cornelia Wall.
‘Rahul Gandhi and George Soros – two bodies, one life’
BJP spokesperson claimed that Rahul Gandhi and George Soros have similar views. He said that it is important to understand who Rahul Gandhi is meeting and what is his agenda. Bhatia alleged that Rahul Gandhi is conspiring with anti-India people.
Called Rahul Gandhi ‘Mir Jafar of India’
Gaurav Bhatia made a very scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi and called him ‘Mir Jafar of India’. He claimed that in Rahul Gandhi’s desire to get power, there is anti-India in his DNA and this is the reason why he continuously gives statements against the country.
BJP alleged that Rahul Gandhi met Ilham Omar in America, who has allegedly been giving anti-India statements regarding Kashmir. Apart from this, he also mentioned getting photographs taken with Musifar Fazal, whom he said was associated with Jamaat-e-Islami.
‘Who does Rahul Gandhi secretly meet abroad?’
Bhatia sarcastically said that among the leaders who go abroad and meet secretly, it is also possible that Rahul Gandhi may also meet people like Hafiz Saeed. He alleged that tarnishing the image of India and making false allegations has become the character of Rahul Gandhi.
BJP demanded that Rahul Gandhi make public the people he met during his five-day foreign visit. Bhatia said that Rahul Gandhi goes abroad and talks about the decline in manufacturing in India, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes forward the agenda of India’s development by holding dozens of meetings during his three-day foreign trip.
Mamta Banerjee accused of insulting Lord Ram
BJP spokesperson also made serious allegations against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He said that at the behest of Mamata Banerjee, their leaders are insulting Lord Ram, due to which the faith of crores of Hindus has been hurt.
TMC targeted over Madan Mitra’s statement
Referring to the statement of TMC leader Madan Mitra, Gaurav Bhatia said that he made objectionable remarks about Lord Ram. He asked whether Mamata Banerjee condemned this statement or expelled Madan Mitra from the party? Was any legal action taken against him?
‘Allegation of calling Maha Kumbh as Death Kumbh’
BJP alleged that Mamata Banerjee calls Mahakumbh as ‘Mrityu Kumbh’. Bhatia questioned whether Mamata Banerjee or her leaders could dare to make such a statement for the God of any other religion.
‘Mamata wants to create Hindu-Muslim riots’
Gaurav Bhatia alleged that Mamata Banerjee is deliberately trying to increase communal tension. He claimed that the Chief Minister is going to lose the elections in West Bengal and that is why such statements are being made. BJP spokesperson said that Hindu society will not tolerate this insult and will give a befitting reply to Mamata Banerjee.
Appreciation of foreign policy of Modi government
Gaurav Bhatia said that Prime Minister Modi has received the highest civilian honor from 29 countries, which reflects India’s global prestige. He alleged that on the contrary, Rahul Gandhi goes abroad and works to humiliate India.
Reaction to Rashid Alvi’s statement
Responding to the statement of Congress leader Rashid Alvi, the BJP spokesperson said that when sensitive issues related to Hindus and the people of India come up, the government comes forward strongly. He said that everyone should exercise restraint in such matters, because the statements of Congress leaders sometimes weaken the circumstances in India’s favor.
