Rahul Gandhi accused BJP of spreading hatred
This statement of BJP has come at a time when Rahul Gandhi, in a post made on social media platform ‘X’, had accused BJP of spreading hatred and violence regarding this matter. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said, ‘The people of Uttam Nagar have paid a heavy price for the violence. On one hand, a young man named Tarun lost his life. On the other hand, an entire family is facing harassment. They don’t want any more bloodshed.
Rahul alleged, ‘Only BJP and its system want violence, which does politics on the fire of division by spreading hatred at every opportunity.’
The Congress leader said that BJP wants to keep the country embroiled in Hindu-Muslim divide so that people do not ask questions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on issues like national security, energy and food security. He appealed to the people of Delhi not to fall prey to any provocation and maintain unity. Responding to Rahul’s allegations, Paswan said that he only pretended to be sensitive by posting the statement several days after the incident.
BJP said- silence on the murder of Dalit youth
The BJP leader said, ‘When a Dalit youth was murdered, you remained silent, but you had gone to meet the family of Mohammad Akhlaq.’
Paswan alleged that appeasement has become ‘institutionalized’ in the Congress and Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra react only after seeing political opportunities. Accusing the Congress of having ‘anti-Dalit thinking’, he said that today’s Dalit does not want just symbolic politics but real participation in governance and administration.
