Rajya Sabha, the upper house of Parliament, will also function on weekends i.e. on March 28 and 29. The reason for this is that some members had requested that meetings should not be held in the House on March 19-20 due to festivals. Rajya Sabha Chairman CP Radhakrishnan gave this information to the members on Monday.
