Rashid Khan Created History In T20 Internationals: Rashid Khan created history by taking 2 wickets in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 match played between Afghanistan and South Africa yesterday i.e. on 11th February. Rashid has now become the first bowler in the world to take 50 wickets in T20 International cricket on Indian soil. He achieved this feat as soon as he took the second wicket against South Africa. He has now become the highest wicket-taker in India with 50 wickets. Rashid achieved this feat by defeating Yuzvendra Chahal and Akshar Patel.

Rashid Khan has so far played a total of 24 innings in T20 International on Indian soil, in which he has been successful in taking 50 wickets. During this period, Rashid’s economy and average have also been excellent. Indian leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is at second place in the list of bowlers who have taken the most wickets on Indian soil in the shortest format of international cricket. He has taken a total of 49 wickets in 38 innings on Indian soil. Spin all-rounder Akshar Patel is at third place in this list, who has taken a total of 48 wickets in 37 innings.
