Kolkata News: The incident of brutal rape and murder of a female doctor on 9 August 2024 at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, had shocked the entire state. The father of the deceased female doctor made a big political allegation and said that he was given an offer by BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari, which he did not accept. He said, “There is no contact like before. Subhendu Adhikari had given us an offer. We rejected it. Maybe that is why now they do not want to contact us like that.”
He further claimed that he was called by phone from the BJP office. “We were called to the Salt Lake party office. We sat for an hour, but no one came to meet us. The call record is still with me.”

The father alleged that not only Shubhendu Adhikari, but other BJP leaders also avoided meeting him. He said that he was called and ignored, which caused him deep mental trauma. These allegations have given rise to a new debate in political circles.

The mother of the deceased female doctor also made a sensational revelation. He said that not only BJP, but many political parties including Trinamool Congress and CPM offered him to contest the elections. He said, “Everyone has asked us to contest the elections. Even Trinamool had offered money first. After that we were asked to contest the elections. BJP and CPM also said the same.” The mother says that political parties want to use this painful incident for their own benefit.
