Rinku Singh Father Health Update: India’s star cricketer Rinku Singh had recently left Team India and returned home. His father’s deteriorating health was the reason for his return home. Rinku’s father, Khan Chand Singh, is suffering from stage-4 liver cancer and is undergoing treatment at Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida. The latest update on Rinku’s father’s health has revealed that he is currently on mechanical ventilator support in the Critical Care Unit (CCU).
Rinku Singh’s father is on mechanical ventilator support and is being given continuous renal replacement therapy. Khanchand Singh is swinging between life and death and his condition is said to be critical. Let us tell you that Rinku’s father’s cancer treatment has been going on for more than a year.
India’s next match in Super-8 is to be with Zimbabwe in Chennai. Rinku Singh had gone to Chennai with Team India, but left for home as soon as he got the news about his father’s health. He did not even participate in the practice session in Chennai.
Will Rinku play the next match or not?
In the press conference on Wednesday, Indian team’s batting coach Sitanshu Kotak had given an update on Rinku Singh and said that Rinku’s father was not well, so he had gone back home. The coach further told that Rinku will join the team today.
As far as the Indian team is concerned, it needs a win over Zimbabwe at any cost to remain in the race for the semi-finals. To improve the net run-rate, India needs a big win over Zimbabwe.
