The meeting of all India representatives of RSS is going to be held in Samalkha, Haryana. This meeting will run from 13 to 15 March. Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, Sir Karyavah Dattatreya Hosabale and senior officials of the Sangh and its affiliated organizations will attend the meeting. In this meeting, along with the work plan for the coming year, there is also a possibility of discussion regarding the restructuring of the organization’s structure.
The Pratinidhi Sabha is the highest decision-making body of the RSS, which consists of about 1400–1500 representatives from across the country. The decisions taken here not only decide the direction of the organization, but also give broader social and political signals. It is being told that both Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat and Dattatreya Hosabale will reach Samalkha by March 8 and after the main meeting, they will also participate in the internal meetings that will continue till March 17.
How many days will the RSS meeting last?
The ongoing programs of the centenary year will be reviewed in the three-day meeting. In this meeting there will be detailed discussion on work expansion, worker formation and training. Preparations for Sangh Shiksha classes to be held from April to June will also be discussed. Along with this, there is a possibility of passing some proposals after discussing the current situation of the country. Various issues raised during the recent stay of Sarsanghchalak can also be included in the meeting.
Important issue of RSS meeting
This time, the most important agenda of the meeting is considered to be the restructuring of the union’s work area. According to sources, the Sangh is preparing to take its provincial structure further down. Under this, there is a plan to make organizational work more effective by dividing the provinces into divisions. By finalizing this proposal, the process of conducting elections for District Sanghchalaks and implementing the new structure can be started from November.
Who will attend the RSS meeting?
The Pratinidhi Sabha will include all the All India officials of the Sangh, area and state level Sanghchalaks, Karyawahs, Pracharaks and heads of various working departments. Apart from this, representatives of like-minded organizations associated with the Sangh including Bharatiya Janata Party, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Seva Bharti, Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Vidya Bharti, Arogya Bharti, Ekal Abhiyan, Hindu Jagran, Advocate Parishad, Rashtra Sevika Samiti and National Educational Federation will also participate.
Discussion regarding appointment of ministers in RSS meeting
In this meeting, discussion is also possible regarding the appointment of new organization ministers in BJP. According to sources, at present in about 6 to 8 states the post of Organization General Secretary is either vacant or is being run through additional charge. The Sangh is rearranging its campaigners, while the party is working on a strategy to move forward with a new structure and new faces. In such a situation, the meeting of the House of Representatives is also being linked to the organizational future of the BJP. It is believed that after the meeting, clear indications may emerge regarding new deployments and roles between the Sangh and the BJP.
