After the crushing defeat at the hands of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Bihar Assembly elections, Congress organized a review meeting on Thursday (November 27, 2025) at the party headquarters Indira Bhawan in Delhi. However, even before this review meeting, there was an uproar among the party leaders. Many leaders clashed with each other. At the same time, a leader even threatened to shoot with a hand gesture.
According to information received from sources, an altercation took place in the waiting room of Congress between Engineer Sanjeev, candidate from Vaishali, Bihar, and Jitendra Kumar, a candidate close to Pappu Yadav. During this, Sanjeev openly threatened to shoot with hand gesture and said that people from outside are called and given tickets. Complete information about this incident has been given to Congress Party National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. However, Engineer Sanjeev has denied any such controversy.
Engineer Sanjeev spoke on the matter of shooting in the review meeting
Engineer Sanjeev said, ‘There are some reports going around that I have threatened to kill someone in the Congress office today, but this is a completely baseless news, there is no truth in it. We have no dispute with anyone, do not pay attention to these rumours.
He said, ‘It is important to know what happened today that there were many candidates who had contested the elections with full strength, while all the candidates had come to the High Command to express their views. There was some resentment, everyone expressed their views, I also expressed my views strongly, I have not had any dispute with anyone. There is no question of any bullet or gun being fired. All these are false and fabricated things. Don’t give credence to such rumours.
