According to the information, the whole matter started with a misunderstanding. A devotee present in the temple saw a person climbing the high peak of the temple and felt him offering namaz. As the devotee tried to stop him, the man allegedly threatened him with a blade, which further escalated the situation. After this the news spread rapidly and the residents of Singaram area surrounded the temple. The crowd was so angry that they blocked the way for the police vehicle and started pressurizing for strict action against the accused. The picture was that deliberate work was being done to incite communal sentiments in the temple premises.
When the police investigated the matter this information came to light
However, when the Medipalli police investigated the matter in depth, the facts that came to light shocked everyone. The police took the accused into custody and examined his mental condition. Sub-Inspector Shiv Kumar clarified that the person was mentally ill and was roaming in the same area for a long time. He couldn’t even remember his name. The police took him to Gandhi Hospital and got him examined by doctors, where he was found to be mentally ill. In fact he had not performed any religious ritual, rather his actions were misinterpreted due to his illness. Now the police is busy in the process of getting him admitted to a mental hospital.
