Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Launched: Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 series in the global market including India. The series consists of three models including Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra, which have been launched with camera improvements, refined display and longer software support as well as on-device AI integration. Galaxy S26
The standard variant of the series has been launched with a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It has Exynos 2600 processor customized for Galaxy. It has a 50MP+12MP+10MP triple camera setup at the rear and a 12MP sensor at the front. The company has given a 4,300mAh battery pack in it. Its starting price in India is Rs 87,999.
Galaxy S26+
This variant has a 6.7” QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. Its processor and camera setup is same as S26. However, it has a larger battery pack with a capacity of 4900mAh. Its starting price in India is Rs 1,19,999.
Galaxy S26 Ultra
The flagship device of the series, S26 Ultra, has a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It is equipped with Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Talking about camera setup, it has a 200MP primary sensor, 50MP ultrawide sensor and 50 MP + 10 MP telephoto lens in its rear. It has a 12 MP sensor for selfies and videos. The starting price of this phone launched with 5000 mAh battery in India is Rs 1,39,999. This is the first phone to be launched with privacy display at the hardware level.
Software and security upgrades will be available for seven years
All three models of the series run on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 and have Galaxy AI features like contextual assistant, real-time summarization, smart search tool and privacy-focused on-device processing. All three models support wireless charging and reverse charging. Samsung has promised to provide software and security updates to the entire series for 7 years.
