The demand for Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S series has always been good, but this time the Galaxy S26 lineup is breaking old records. According to Korean media reports, the demand for this series has started increasing a few days after its launch and it is being speculated that it may even surpass the pre-orders of the Galaxy S25 series launched last year. The models of this series, which was launched on 25th February, are showing a lot of interest among the people.
Estimated to be around 15 lakh pre-orders
Samsung received about 13 lakh pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series last year. Samsung has not yet released the numbers regarding the latest series, but the company said that the latest lineup has received 15 percent more orders as compared to last year. It is estimated that around 15 lakh pre-orders have been received for the new series and 79 percent of these are for the Ultra model. Pre-orders are currently taking place for this series, so it is expected that this figure may increase further. Pre-orders for it will close on March 10 in America and sales of the series will start from March 11.
Highest demand for ultra model
Samsung Electronics Korea Vice-President Song Taek said that people are booking Galaxy S26 Ultra the most. In fact, for the last 2-3 years, the share of ultra models in sales has been more than 50 percent. This time the company has given many major upgrades to S26 Ultra.
