Sarfaraz Ahmed broke ICC rules? Were using smart phones during the match

Sarfraz Ahmed Break ICC Rules: The 12th match of the ICC Men’s Under-19 World Cup 2026 took place between India and Pakistan on Sunday, 1 February. This match was played at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed is associated with his country’s Under-19 cricket team for this tournament. Sarfaraz is currently the mentor of Pakistan Under-19 team. However, he did something during the match played between India and Pakistan, due to which he has now come into the headlines.

Sarfaraz broke the rules during India-Pakistan match

A picture of Sarfaraz Ahmed during the match between India and Pakistan is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In that picture, Sarfaraz Ahmed can be seen using the phone during the match. However, it is not known whether this photo is from inside or outside the PMOA area. If Sarfaraz was using the phone while sitting in the PMOA area, then he has broken the ICC rules. ICC has banned the use of communication devices in the PMOA area.

Let us tell you that in PMOA stadium, there is a fixed area in the stadium used by the players, officials and coaching staff. If Sarfaraz Ahmed has broken this rule then ICC can take action against him. ICC can impose a huge fine on him.

Pakistan lost to India by 58 runs

In the match between India and Pakistan played at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, India defeated Pakistan by 58 runs. This was a Super Six match. Pakistan had to win the match by a big margin to reach the semi-finals. However, Pakistan lost the match. After losing the toss and batting first, India had set a target of 253 runs for Pakistan. In response, Pakistan team was all out for 194 runs. Let us tell you that India has reached the semi-finals and is going to face Afghanistan in the semi-finals on 4th February.
