After a long wait of three years, finally a big update regarding ‘Fargie Season 2’ has come out. Shahid Kapoor is once again ready to make a comeback in this crime thriller series with the directorial duo of Raj and DK. The audience was eagerly waiting for ‘Fargie Part 2’ since the cliffhanger finale of the first season in the year 2023, and now finally their wait is about to end.
Big update regarding ‘Farzi 2’
Recently, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, known as Raj & DK, announced ‘Farzie 2′ on completion of three years of the series’ release on 10 February 2026. He shared a teaser image on his X account, in which a bundle of fake notes is visible and it is written, ‘Round 2 in progress’ along with the hashtag fake.

At the same time, by re-sharing this post, Shahid Kapoor has given a hint of his return as his character Sunny, i.e. artist-turned-counterfitter. Now with this update the speculations that have been going on for the last several years have come to an end.
Cast of ‘Farzi 2’
Shahid Kapoor will once again be seen in the lead role in ‘Farzi 2’. Vijay Sethupathi, Raashi Khanna, Bhuvan Arora and KK Menon are also returning with him. According to sources, the shooting of the series is going to start from March 2026. Recently, while sharing a photo of his ‘Sunny’ hairstyle on Instagram, Shahid wrote the caption, ‘SUNNY days back soon,’ after which the excitement of the fans has increased further.
When will it be released?
‘Farzie Season 2’ is expected to be released on Prime Video by the year 2027. Although the makers have not yet shared any official release date or new pictures, the teaser of ‘Round 2 in progress’ has maintained tremendous excitement among the fans.
Shahid Kapoor also shared a photo of himself with Raj & DK, captioning it, ‘The fakers are back at it’, meaning the fraudsters are back again. It is clear from this that Sunny’s world is once again making a comeback with big stakes.
