A heart-wrenching incident that tears humanity apart has taken place in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana. In Penchalpadu village of Bhuvanagiri mandal, a former sarpanch, Ellaiah, whom the society considered a protector, became a predator. Accused former Sarpanch Ellayya has been seriously accused of indecent acts and harassment with a 5 year old innocent girl. After this incident, there is tension in the entire area and the angry villagers took the law into their hands and beat up the accused severely.
Former public representative committed cruelty after finding the girl alone
According to the information, the accused Allaiah found a five-year-old girl from the same village alone and brutally assaulted her. As soon as the girl’s family and villagers got information about this heinous incident, there was chaos in the village. Enraged villagers caught the accused Ellaiah and beat him severely.
The anger of the villagers did not stop here. After killing the accused, he handed him over to the local police. After the incident, the family members of the victim girl and hundreds of villagers came out on the road. They staged a dharna on the main road and appealed to the police administration to take strictest action against the accused and justice for the victim’s family.
Police detained the accused
As soon as the information was received, Bhuvanagiri mandal police reached the spot and tried to control the situation. The police have taken the accused Allaiah into custody and sent him to the police station for treatment and further questioning. Police officials say that they will take strict action by registering a case under the POCSO Act.
This case raises serious questions about the misuse of power and influence as well as the safety of children in the society. The involvement of a former public representative in such a crime is a deep shock for the villagers. At present, heavy police force is deployed in the village, so that any untoward incident can be avoided.
