According to the Meteorological Department, there was snowfall in many surrounding areas including New York and New Jersey on Saturday. In such a situation, people have been advised not to go out.

Where did how much snow fall?
The National Weather Service (NWS) reported that central New York received 6 to 10 inches of snowfall from Syracuse to Long Island, New York City received 2 to 4 inches of snowfall overnight and Central Park received 4.3 inches of snowfall. This is the highest since 2022. However, the snowfall has stopped.

Administration issued warning
While giving a statement, the working governor of New Jersey, Tahesha, has issued a weather warning. He said that this storm can make road conditions extremely dangerous. Will affect the trips taken during holidays. There is an appeal to people to avoid travelling. Let the road clearing teams do their work. Due to drop in temperature, there will be danger of freezing. People are expected to remain alert.
More than 1400 flights were canceled
According to flight tracking website, 14,400 domestic flights have been canceled in America. These also include figures of delayed flights. John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and New York Liberty International Airport. Besides, 2100 international flights have also been cancelled. Apart from these, warnings of snow storm have been issued in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
