Sensex Today, Stock Market Closing 30 January: Major stock indices Sensex and Nifty declined in early trade on Friday due to fall in IT shares and caution before the presentation of the budget on February 1. There was a bullish trend in the market for the last three days. But the market failed to maintain this trend today and both the indices closed in the red.
