Stock Market Today, 22 December: Sensex and Nifty traded on an optimistic note on Monday as investor sentiment remained positive amid inflow of foreign capital and rise in global markets. Both the major indices of the stock market closed the trading on the green mark. BSE Sensex rose 482.7 points or 0.56 per cent to 85,412.06 in early trade and NSE Nifty rose 160.2 points or 0.61 per cent to 26,126.60.
