However, after the release of ‘Mardaani 3’, there has been a slight difference in the collection of the film. The public is a bit divided between the two films. But ‘Border 2’ is getting the benefit of making a film on topics like emotions, war drama and defence. In such a situation, this film has broken many records, but still this film of Sunny Deol has not been able to break the record of Aamir Khan’s 10 year old film.
‘Border 2’ could not reach Rs 300 crore
However, there were expectations that by the 10th day of its release, ‘Border 2’ would cross its total collection of Rs 300 crores. But this did not happen, according to Sacknik, the film earned Rs 22.50 crore on the 10th day, taking the total to Rs 275.25 crore. The film needs to collect another Rs 25 crores to become Rs 300 crores.

‘Border 2’ could not break the record of Aamir’s film
According to the report of Koimoi, ‘Border 2’ has not been able to break the record of Aamir Khan’s film ‘Dangal’ released 10 years ago. To beat Aamir Khan’s film ‘Dangal’ released in 2016, it needed to earn at least Rs 71.12 crore. This target will not be achieved by a margin of more than Rs 10 crore. ‘Chhaawan’ and ‘Dhurandhar’, released last year, had made good collections at the box office in the second week. Both these films had earned more than expected.
