After the big announcements made by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Union Budget 2026–27 to strengthen the tourism and hospitality sector, strong buying was seen in related shares on Sunday. Shares of EaseMyTrip (Easy Trip Planners) registered a rise of about 9 percent, while hotel shares like ITC Hotels, Indian Hotels, EIH and Lemon Tree Hotels were also seen trading with gains.
