Tamil Nadu Murder News: Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, due to love affairs and mutual dispute took the life of a boy, here a case of brutal murder of 28 year old Selvakumar, resident of 4th Street, Trishulam Amman Nagar near Pallavaram, has come to light. The deceased was a building worker by profession.
According to the police, the incident took place when he was talking with two women in Old Pallavaram area when some unidentified people attacked Selvakumar at several places including his head, mouth and genitals and ran away. Selvakumar, who was seriously injured, was taken to Tambaram Hospital and later admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital in Chennai for treatment, where he died after two days of treatment.

In this regard, Pallavaram police registered a case and investigated, which revealed that the deceased was 24-year-old Reena, a resident of Old Pallavaram area, who was married to a man named Vijay and was living separately from him. Meanwhile, Selvakumar settled in Reena’s house and established a family and became friends with Reena’s friend Rejitha. Due to this, a dispute started between Reena and Selvakumar and both separated.
After separation, Reena came in contact with Alex Pandian. Angered by this, Selvakumar often fought with Reena and Rejitha under the influence of alcohol. He used abusive language on mobile phone.
Called after conspiring, then attacked
Angered by this, Reena sent her new friends Alex Pandian and Rejitha, who were in illicit relations with 17 minors, to call Selvakumar to Pallavaram Trishulam area, where the two men attacked her and the women watched the scene. Police investigation revealed that both of them left after attacking Selvakumar, while Reena also pretended to be injured in the attack and became unconscious.
After this the police arrested Reena, Rejita and three minors who helped them. The minors were kept in a reformatory school, while the two women were lodged in Puzhal jail. The search for Alex Pandian continues.
