Tamil Nadu Murder News: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu, where a brother murdered his sister. This incident happened in Seyyadunganallur Railway Gate area. The deceased has been identified as Shanmugathai alias Sumitra, 35, who was living separately from her husband for the last one year due to differences. This dangerous incident has shaken everyone in the area.
According to the information, her brother Muthuraja of Puliyangulam came to know about Sumitra’s illicit relationship. He scolded his sister in this regard. This often led to fights between them. At one time Muthuraja thought that it would bring great shame to the family, so he planned to murder his sister.
Angry sister attacked with sickle
Let us tell you that on the night of the incident, Muthuraja along with his friend Vasant went to his sister Sumitra’s house on a bike. Vasanth stood guard outside the house, while Muthuraja went inside and argued with Sumitra. As the argument escalated, he became angry and attacked his sister with his hidden sickle.
Police arrested both of them
In this, blood soaked Sumitra died on the spot. Later Muthuraja and Vasanth ran away from there. On receiving information about this incident, policemen of Seyyadunganallur police station reached the spot and sent Sumitra’s body to the government hospital for post-mortem.
Apart from this, the police registered the case and caught and arrested both absconding Muthuraja and Vasanth within a few hours. They are interrogating him. In Thoothukudi, a brother killed his sister by stabbing her with a sickle because she was in an illicit relationship, which has shocked the entire area.
