Tamil Nadu News: A shocking case has come to light from Puzhal Surpettu area of Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. Here, the police has arrested an elderly man who harassed a 25-year-old girl by calling her to a hotel on the pretext of resolving a family dispute.
The girl lodged a complaint against her husband at Patta Bram police station due to his constant harassment. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case against the girl’s husband Mahesh Anna under various sections including the Prevention of Harassment of Women Act and started investigation.

Meanwhile, on February 10, a person contacted the girl on phone and said that he was the lawyer of her husband Mahesh Anna and he would solve her family problem. Apart from this, he told the girl that he had to talk to her, so he came to Sangeeta Hotel in Perambur area.
Man made objectionable demand to girl
When the girl reached the hotel and met the man, he said that he would solve the problem, but for this she would have to stay with him in the hotel room for the night. Hearing this, the shocked girl raised an alarm, after which people nearby ran and caught the lawyer and took him to Sembium police station.
Later, when the police interrogated the arrested person, it was found that he was Vyasarpadi M.K.B. Gyan Prakash, 68, a resident of the city, has worked as an Assistant Justice (Office) in the Madras High Court and has retired.

Further, investigation revealed that old man Gyan Prakash took advantage of the girl’s family problem and called her for pleasure and harassed her. After this, the police registered a case against retired court assistant Gyan Prakash and arrested him.
