Dinesh Pe, 26, of Arugeri area near Pennadam in Cuddalore district, runs a hotel in Ponneri village. Meanwhile, 7 boys, who were from Thirukuppam, came to his hotel to eat in an inebriated condition. The hotel staff asked them what they wanted to eat. They said they wanted human flesh and brought it immediately. He asked whether this was possible or not and the boys created an uproar.

Shocked by this, the hotel staff told Dinesh and cook Tamilzhagan about this. Cook Tamilzhagan, who was surprised to hear of human flesh, went to those boys and asked them why they were asking so, then those 7 boys abused and beat him badly.
Not only this, they also broke the cooking utensils and other items kept in the shop and threw away the chairs. People eating food in the hotel at that time ran away in fear of this incident. After this, those 7 boys ran away from there.
The injured were admitted to the government hospital
Cook Tamilazhagan, who was injured in the attack, was admitted to Thittakudi Government Hospital for treatment. He is being treated by doctors there. Regarding this incident, on the complaint of hotel owner Dinesh, Pennadam police reached the spot and investigated.
Furthermore, the police registered a case in this regard and started a thorough investigation. The investigation revealed that those who attacked the cook and vandalized the hotel were people from Thirukuppam. Loganathan’s 24 year old son Kaviarasan, Raghunathan’s 19 year old son Prashant, Chinnathambi’s 22 year old son Srikanth, Maviran’s son Prakash, Poomalai, Surya and Bharathi.
Police started searching for the remaining boys
After this, the police arrested Kaviarasan, Prashant and Srikanth. Police are searching for four other people who are absconding. The incident of boys vandalizing the hotel demanding human flesh has created a sensation in the area.
