T20 World Cup Semifinal Prediction: When India and Pakistan came face to face in the group match of the 2026 T20 World Cup, Team India had registered a big victory of 61 runs. Former Pakistani cricketers Rashid Latif, Mohammad Aamir and Ahmed Shehzad were discussing on a Pakistani news channel. First of all, Mohammad Aamir raised questions on Indian middle order batting while making predictions. He also said that Team India has been seen struggling time and again, especially in batting.
India will not go to the semi-finals
Mohammad Aamir said that the Indian team will not go to the semi-finals. Aamir said that Team India has not always got a good start. He said that even though the Indian team has made big scores in the World Cup, the shortcomings of the team have also been exposed during this period. Aamir believes that India’s batting has looked weak in high pressure situations and in such moments the opposing team will take advantage.
Earlier, Mohammad Aamir had also called Indian opener Abhishek Sharma ‘Lappebaaz’. Abhishek, who has so far been out on ‘zero’ in his first three innings in the World Cup. Aamir praised the bowling line-ups of West Indies and South Africa and predicted them to reach the semi-finals.

On the other hand, Ahmed Shehzad and Rashid Latif believe that India will definitely qualify for the semi-finals. Rashid Latif even made a big prediction and said that India and Pakistan will compete in the semi-finals.
