On Sunday afternoon (22 February 2026), a minor dispute created such a storm in the hostel of Kakatiya University located in Warangal, Telangana that the situation reached a violent clash. According to the information, the whole matter started over the leftover chicken served during lunch in the hostel mess. A debate broke out between MBA first year and Economics first year students over sharing the chicken during lunch. Initially this argument was just a dispute, but soon it turned into mutual abuse. The situation worsened when students from both sides started fighting. According to witnesses, the dispute became so intense that the students picked up sticks and coins kept nearby and attacked each other.
