A case of brutal beating of students by a lecturer has come to light in a polytechnic college located in Turkal Khanapur area of Ratnapuri village of Medak district. Many students were seriously injured in this incident, who had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to the information, Shiva Reddy, a lecturer teaching at Ratnapuri Polytechnic College, brutally attacked the students for not doing their homework. It is alleged that the lecturer, in a fit of anger, beat the students with sticks and hands in the same manner as an animal is killed. Not only this, while beating the students, he also kept abusing them continuously.
Students were asked about homework
According to eyewitnesses, this incident happened when some students were asked about homework. When the students told that they had not been able to complete the homework, lecturer Shiva Reddy suddenly got angry and started beating the students inside the class. During this period many students suffered serious injuries. After the incident, the injured students were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. There is huge anger among the students and their parents due to this incident. Local people say that such inhuman acts cannot be expected from a teacher.
Police arrived after getting information
After getting information about the matter, the police of Turkla Khanapur area reached the spot and collected information about the incident. After receiving the complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused lecturer Shiva Reddy. Police officials said that a case has been registered based on the complaint of the students and their families and the entire matter is being investigated. Police say that appropriate legal action will be taken after investigation. According to the local police, the accused lecturer is being interrogated and answers have also been sought from the college administration in this matter. If the allegations are found true then strict action will be taken against them. At present, the police is busy investigating the matter and the students have been assured of getting justice.
