The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday released the schedule of Afghanistan’s tour of India. Afghanistan team will play one test match and three-match ODI series in India. Afghanistan’s tour of India will start from June 6. This means that the series between India and Afghanistan will be played immediately after IPL 2026.
The only test match between India and Afghanistan will be played between June 6 and June 10. This test match will be played at Mullanpur Stadium in New Chandigarh. This will be the second time that Team India will play a Test match with Afghanistan. The test match will start at 9:30 am.
After the only test, Afghanistan team will play a three-match ODI series against India. The ODI series will start on June 14, 2026 in Dharamshala, after which the subsequent matches will be played in Lucknow and Chennai. The second ODI match will be played in Lucknow on 17 June and the third ODI match will be played in Chennai on 20 June.
