Afghanistan Tour of India 2026: Afghanistan cricket team is going to tour India this year, where it has to play 3 ODIs and one test match. So far in history, only one Test match has been played between India and Afghanistan. The test match between India and Afghanistan will start from June 6. This match will be played at Maharaj Yadavinder Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. This will be the first time that a Test match will be played on this ground.
For the first time in the year 2018, a Test match was played between India and Afghanistan. In that match played in Bengaluru, Team India had registered a huge victory by an innings and 262 runs. Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan had scored centuries for the Indian team in that match. Whereas Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul had scored half-centuries.
3 ODI matches will also be played
The ODI series between India and Afghanistan will run from June 14-June 20. The first ODI will be played on June 14 in Dharamshala, while the second ODI will be played on June 17 in Lucknow. The last ODI match is to be held on June 20 in Chennai.
