Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal got divorced from Dhanashree Verma in March 2025. Now, after 9 months of divorce, Chahal has told that now he has moved on from Dhanashree and Dhanashree has also moved on in her life.
In a recent interview given to Mashable India, Yuzvendra Chahal talked about divorce from Dhanashree Verma. He said- ‘This was a chapter of my life, which is now over. I have left that place now. I don’t want to be stuck there.
‘I am happy in my life, he is happy in his life’
Yuzvendra further said- ‘I am happy in my life, he is happy in his life. What will anyone gain by making someone unhappy? After this, Chahal talked about the T-shirt which he wore in the court at the time of divorce. Be Your Own Sugar Daddy was written on this t-shirt. This was linked to Dhanashree’s alimony from Chahal. Regarding this, Chahal said- ‘This matter ended there as soon as he came out of the court.’
Yuzvendra Chahal was in depression during divorce
However, Yuzvendra Chahal revealed that he was struggling with depression after his divorce from Dhanashree. He said- ‘When I was getting divorced, my brain was not working. That’s why I left some big cricket tournaments last year. I used to share this with my mentor, Anirudh sir in Haryana. He helped me a lot to get out of that difficulty.
Breaks silence on dating rumors with RJ Mahvash
During this, Yuzvendra Chahal also reacted to dating rumors with RJ Mahvash. He told that he is single. Although he had created an account on the dating app, he did not understand it and later deleted his account from there.
