Story
The name of the film is Kerala Story, but the story of three states is shown in the film, Kochi, Gwalior and Jodhpur. Three Hindu girls living here fall in love with Muslim boys and then change their religion on their request. Then atrocities are committed against them, how does all this happen? You will have to go to the theater to see this.
How is the movie?
The first disclaimer at the beginning of the film is that this film is based on some true events. After this the painful story of those three girls is shown. Then after the film ends, some facts are also shown, and an attempt is made to explain that this is happening.
As a film, it is a decent film. It is weaker than the first part, things have been stretched too much at many places. It has also been shown as a big offering. Seeing bad things happening to these girls at many places, your soul trembles and you feel that if this is true then it is a very disgusting truth. The climax has been made a bit more dramatic. Now whether this is propaganda or not, such incidents have definitely come to the fore but should a film be made on this? Everyone may have their own opinion on this. acting
Aditi Bhatia has done a great job. She has well played the character of a girl who wants to become famous by making a reel. Ulka Gupta has done a good job. You feel nervous looking at her, she has played her character brilliantly. Aishwarya Ojha has also put life into her character. The acting of these three is the biggest plus point of this film.
Writing and Direction
The writing of Vipul Shah and Amarnath Jha is good. He said whatever he wanted to say. Kamakhya Singh’s direction is good. At some places the film seems light but overall it conveys its point.
