According to the latest reports, the first device of OpenAI may be launched this year. It is currently working on three devices. There are speculations that the company may launch its product in the second half of this year. The company’s Chief Global Officer Chris Lahane has also confirmed this. He says that the company is moving forward on the path to launch its first product by the end of this year. It is believed that it could be an audio device, information about which was revealed only a few days ago. Even if this product is launched this year, its sale will start from next year.
Will SweetPie be launched?
Last week, information came that OpenAI is working on a new special audio gadget, which will be a mini computer in the shape of earphones. There will be no screen and it will work with voice commands with the help of ChatGPT. The company has given this device the codename Sweetpea. Although it will come in the shape of earphones, smartphone components will be used in it, due to which its price may also be higher.
Work is also going on on these products
It is being told that OpenAI is working on three different AI hardware in collaboration with former Apple designer Jony Ive. One of these is an AI wearable device, while the other could be a tabletop AI product, which will operate entirely on voice commands. The third device could be an AI pen.
