1. Mahela Jayawardene – (Sri Lanka)

After Sachin Tendulkar, former Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene is the player who has played the second most ODI matches. He has scored a total of 12,650 runs with the help of 19 centuries. Jayawardene also scored 77 half-centuries but could never touch the mark of 150 runs and the highest score of his ODI career is 144 runs.

2. Shikhar Dhawan – (India)

India’s powerful opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan scored a total of 6,793 runs in 167 matches of his ODI career at an average of more than 44. In which apart from 39 half-centuries, he has also played 17 brilliant century innings. However, Shikhar has played his biggest innings of 143 runs in ODI.

3. Jacques Kallis – (South Africa)

South Africa’s legendary all-rounder Jacques Kallis scored a total of 11,579 runs in 328 matches in ODIs. Kallis has scored 86 half-centuries along with 11 centuries in his career. In 2004, Kallis played his biggest innings of 139 runs against West Indies.

4. Inzamam Ul Haq – (Pakistan)

Former Pakistan captain Inzamam Ul Haq averaged around 40 in 378 ODI matches between 1991 and 2007 in his ODI career. Scored a total of 11,739 runs. Inzamam has played the biggest innings of 137 runs in ODI cricket.

5. Michael Clarke – (Australia)

Former Australia captain Michael Clarke played 245 matches in his ODI career, in which he scored a total of 7,981 runs at an average of 44.58. However, his biggest inning was only 130 runs. Australia won the 2015 ODI World Cup under Clarke’s captaincy.
