Grok Controversy: Grok, the AI chatbot of Elon Musk’s company xAI, is once again in trouble. This chatbot, which faced criticism a few days ago due to the bikini trend, is now in the news again due to its racist and derogatory responses. After the bikini trend, people are now asking the chatbot to generate uncensored and obscene content. This trend has once again raised questions on the limits of AI and its use.
Grok is giving objectionable answer
According to media reports, Sky News was the first to report about this trend. This media company studied Grok’s public replies and found that many of the responses contained abuses and derogatory remarks about religion. Regarding this, many experts say that this kind of language cannot be tolerated. These are things that increase discrimination. The UK government has also considered these posts offensive and irresponsible. The government says that all AI chatbots will have to follow the rules of the country.
Problems also increased due to bikini trend
This is not the first case of Grok being in the headlines. Earlier it had come into discussion due to bikini trend. Then on the instructions of the users, it was creating obscene pictures of women. Many users had created objectionable posts against women and children and shared them on other social media platforms including X and the dark web. In view of this, the governments of many countries including India had sought answers from the company. Due to this trend, Grok was also banned in countries like Indonesia and Malaysia. As protests grew, X limited Grok’s image editing capabilities to paid subscribers only. That means only paid subscribers were left with the option to edit images with Grok.
