A very sad incident has come to light from Mancherial district of Telangana. Two youths died tragically due to electrocution on Monday (March 9, 2026) in Myadaripet village of Dandepalli mandal of the district. After this accident, a wave of mourning ran in the entire village and there was mourning in the families.
According to the information, this accident happened near the Indian Petrol Pump located in Myadiripet village. It is being told that for some reason an iron stand had come in contact with the main electricity line. Meanwhile, two youths present there suddenly got a strong electric shock. The current was so strong that both the youths fell on the spot and their condition became critical.
People killed in the accident identified
The deceased have been identified as Sall Lakshminarayana, resident of Myadiripet village, and Nagaraj, resident of Velganur village. Eyewitnesses told that both the youths were present near the petrol pump at that time when suddenly this accident happened. As soon as the electric shock occurred, there was chaos among the people present nearby. The villagers immediately ran to save the two youths, but by then it was too late.
Villagers accused the electricity department
As soon as information about the incident was received, the people of the village reached the spot in large numbers. An attempt was made to immediately take both the youths to the hospital, but the doctors declared them dead. As soon as this news came out, a mountain of sorrow fell on both the families. The family members are in bad condition and the atmosphere of the entire village has become very sad.
Local people say that if the security and monitoring of electrical wires had been better, perhaps this accident could have been avoided. The villagers have demanded the concerned department to investigate the matter and take action against those responsible for the negligence.
