Ukraine-France are thinking of giving nuclear weapons to Ukraine, will Putin create havoc in western countries? had already warned

Amidst the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, the Kremlin claimed that Britain and France are preparing to provide nuclear bombs to Kiev. Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) made this claim on Tuesday (24 February 2026), after which the possibility of further increase in tension between Moscow and Western countries has deepened. On this day in 2022, Russia attacked Ukraine. Since then there is war going on between the two countries. European countries like Britain and France are funding Ukraine along with weapons against Russia.

Russia blames UK and France

According to the report of Russian news agency TASS, SVR said, ‘The UK and France believe that given the current developments in Ukraine, it is impossible to defeat Russia by conventional means. Western countries are thinking of giving Ukraine a super weapon (nuclear bomb) to strengthen its position in this war. The SVR claimed that the use of France’s TN75 small-sized warhead deployed on the M51 submarine-launched ballistic missile is being considered.

Russia demands investigation from IAEA

According to Russian intelligence agencies, Germany refused to help send nuclear weapons to help Ukraine. Meanwhile, Russia’s Federation Council has called on the United Nations Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to investigate Britain and France’s intention to supply nuclear weapons to Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a visit to Kazakhstan in November 2024, said that Moscow would not allow Ukraine to acquire nuclear weapons and would use all available means to prevent it.

Putin has already threatened

Putin had said, ‘If Ukraine tries to become a nuclear power, we will use our weapons of destruction.’ He also warned the countries providing nuclear weapons to Ukraine. He said, ‘We will keep an eye on whatever is happening there and will not tolerate it.’ In June 2022, European Parliament member Radoslaw Sikorsky said that the West has the right to provide nuclear weapons to Ukraine to defend its independence.
