RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is on a visit to Lucknow from 16-19 February. Yogi Adityanath met Mohan Bhagwat at 8 pm on 18th February for about 40 minutes. This meeting of Yogi and Bhagwat took place at the Sangh office in Niralanagar, Lucknow.
Neither the Sangh nor the Chief Minister’s Office issued any statement regarding this meeting, but the meeting between Yogi and Bhagwat has given impetus to many political discussions. Sangh standing strong with Yogi

Especially Sangh’s area campaigner of Eastern UP, Anil Singh is considered a strong supporter of CM Yogi Adityanath. Anil Singh has been the Sangh area campaigner of Eastern UP for a long time. The timing of the meeting between Yogi and Bhagwat is also important because the new BJP team is to be announced in Uttar Pradesh. Expansion in the Yogi cabinet of UP is also being said to be proposed. Keshav-Brajesh’s meeting with Bhagwat
Today Thursday (February 19) at 9:30 am, UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak also came to meet Mohan Bhagwat. Both of them separately talked to the Sangh chief for about half an hour. Both Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak have not yet issued any statement on this meeting. It is well known that both the leaders keep raising questions on the attitude of the UP government from time to time in internal meetings. The outline of this meeting of both of them with Mohan Bhagwat was prepared at the time when Sangh’s co-functioning chief Dr. Arun Kumar was on Lucknow tour before the announcement of the new UP BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary. During that time, he had also met Keshav Maurya and Brajesh Pathak separately.
Keshav Maurya and Brajesh Pathak have met Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat at a time when some of the steps taken by both are giving many political signals. Recently, BJP MLA Guddu Rajput had shared pictures of his meeting with Keshav Prasad Maurya on his social media. This is the same MLA who had taken Yogi’s close minister Swatantra Dev Singh hostage in Mahoba. However, UP BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary had issued a notice to Guddu Rajput.
Brajesh Pathak had recently given a statement on the Shankaracharya controversy. Brajesh Pathak had said that the braids should not have been pulled and action should be taken against all the guilty officers.
