Uproar outside the Supreme Court before the hearing in the Unnao gangrape case, Kuldeep Sengar’s lawyer said – ‘We want justice…’

Before the important hearing of the Supreme Court in the Unnao gang rape case, the atmosphere outside the court became heated. A large number of women activists demonstrated outside the Supreme Court demanding justice for the victim. During this period, women workers of Congress and common women also participated. Citing security arrangements, the police detained all the protesters and removed them from the spot.

Alka Lamba came in support of Unnao victim
National President of Mahila Congress Alka Lamba also reached the Supreme Court in support of the Unnao victim. He alleged that he was not even allowed to get out of the car.
Alka Lamba said, ‘We have come in support of the Unnao victim, but the police is not allowing us to stay.’

Women sitting on the road with the banner of ‘Women’s Justice’
During the demonstration, women were wearing banners and badges written ‘Women’s Justice’. Delhi Mahila Congress President Pushpa Satbir Singh was seen sitting on the road and protesting. The police detained her and other women protesters and made them sit in a bus.

Women’s rights activist Yogita Bhayana said that the victim is currently present in the court. He said, ‘The victim is fine and we are hopeful that we will get justice. If the decision given earlier is not correct, the court will change it.

Before the hearing, convict Kuldeep Singh Sengar’s lawyer Shashi Tripathi said, ‘We should have faith in the justice system. Our justice system is good.
