Pawan Kalyan’s Telugu action entertainer ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ is the much awaited film of the year. Even before its release, tremendous excitement is being seen among the fans about the film. This film is being released in theaters on March 19, 2026 on the occasion of Ugadi festival. Let us tell you that on March 11, trade analyst Umer Sandhu released the first review of ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ on his X account. Sharing his reaction, he wrote, “Pawan Kalyan’s entry scene is worth the money! Watching the overseas screening of Ustad Bhagat Singh!”

Advance booking craze 120 crossed Rs crore
Even before its release, ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ has done tremendous business through advance booking. According to a Money Control report, the film has already sold a large number of tickets in the Telugu speaking areas, and has earned around Rs 120 crore from advance bookings in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Approval to increase ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh
Ahead of the film’s release, 123 Telugu website reports that the Andhra Pradesh government has approved a temporary increase in ticket prices for ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’. A new government order confirming the revised prices has also surfaced online. According to the order, single-screen theaters can increase ticket prices by up to Rs 100, which includes GST. With this, the new ticket rate will become Rs 247.

For multiplex theatres, ticket prices may be increased to Rs 125 including GST. The new fare of multiplex will be Rs 302. These increased ticket prices will be applicable for ten days starting from March 19.

As per the same government order, there will be no ‘premiere show’ before the official release of the film. Instead, a special ‘benefit show’ will be shown on the day of release. This benefit show will take place on March 19. It will start between 4 am to 5 am. The ticket price for this special show has been fixed at Rs 500 including GST. Apart from this, theaters have been allowed to show five shows daily for the first ten days of release.

Interestingly, this project was initially scheduled to release on March 26. Later the makers decided to advance the release date by a week, due to which it reached theaters earlier than planned. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film stars Sreeleela, Raashi Khanna and R. Parthiban also stars in the lead roles. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan’s previous film was ‘OG’.
