Vedanta Q3 Results FY 2026: Know how the results of Anil Aggarwali’s company were
After the market closed, the company reported its quarterly results through exchange filing. The company said that Vedanta has recorded its strongest quarterly performance so far. The company’s net profit (PAT) in the third quarter (Q3FY26) has increased by 60 percent on an annual basis.

Vedanta’s profit rose to a record high of Rs 7,807 crore, registering a strong jump of 124 per cent on a quarterly basis, the company said in an exchange filing. During this period, Vedanta’s total income stood at Rs 45,899 crore, which shows an increase of 19 percent on annual basis and 17 percent on quarterly basis.

EBITDA also reached a record high at Rs 15,171 crore, registering a growth of 34 per cent year-on-year and 31 per cent quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA margin expanded 629 basis points to 41%, one of the best levels in the company’s history, driven by strong operational performance and cost control.
The company also saw improvement in capital efficiency, where the return on capital employed stood at 27 per cent, which represents an increase of 296 basis points on an annual basis. Indicating financial strength, Vedanta’s net debt declined to Rs 60,624 crore, improving the net debt/EBITDA ratio to 1.23x from 1.40x in the same quarter last year.

On the strategic front, the company has not received a major setback but has received strength, because the demerger of Vedanta has got approval from NCLT. After this, both CRISIL and ICRA have again maintained the credit rating of the company at AA level. Additionally, Vedanta has also announced the acquisition of Incab Industries to strengthen its downstream copper and aluminum business.
Overall, 3QFY26 has turned out to be a record-breaking quarter for Vedanta, where strong earnings, improved margins, declining debt and strategic decisions have further strengthened the company’s financial position.

Commenting on the quarterly results, Arun Mishra, Executive Director, Vedanta, said, “Q3 FY26 has been a historic quarter for Vedanta, in which we have achieved the highest ever EBITDA of Rs 15,171 crore, and our two businesses have achieved the best ever financial results. Aluminum achieved the strongest ever EBITDA of $1,268 per tonne with record alumina and aluminum production. Margin achieved.”
He further added, “Zinc India recorded highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of Rs 6,064 crore driven by record mining and refined metal production, with silver contributing 44 per cent of total profits. Zinc International also reported 28 per cent growth in production year-on-year, mainly due to Gamsberg achieving its highest ever recovery.
Arun Mishra said, “Our Oil & Gas business achieved a major milestone with India’s first subsea template installation, while our Thermal Power business achieved 188 per cent year-on-year EBITDA growth with 62 per cent growth in sales volumes. The Steel & Ferrochrome business also achieved record production of steel billets at 285 kt, and ferrochrome production grew by 32 per cent year-on-year.”
