Video: ‘ICC has surrendered before you’, when the reporter asked the question, the person sitting next to Mohsin Naqvi laughed, the truth was revealed

Pakistan has finally changed its stand regarding playing against India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. After initial opposition, political rhetoric and pressure politics, now Pakistan team is ready to face India. This high-voltage match will be held on February 15 at the R.K. Stadium in Colombo. Will be played at Premadasa Stadium. Earlier, the Pakistan government had forbidden their team to play against India, but later the government had to change its decision.

Mohsin Naqvi’s video exposed

Amidst this entire incident, a video of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi went viral on social media. This video is of a press conference related to Pakistan Super League. During the press conference, a journalist praised Mohsin Naqvi and said that you handled this entire crisis in such a way that ICC had to come to its knees.

While listening to this statement, Mohsin Naqvi appeared calm and kept listening to the journalist with his head bowed. However, as soon as the line “bringing the ICC to its knees” came, the person sitting next to him burst out laughing. He was seen trying to hide his laughter and this moment was recorded in the camera. This is the reason why this video is now going viral on social media and Pakistan is being disgraced.

First denial, then sudden U-turn

Till a few days ago, the Pakistan government had clearly said that their team will not play the match against India. As soon as this statement of the government came out, the concern of ICC and tournament organizers increased. The India-Pakistan match is considered to be the biggest attraction of the World Cup and its cancellation could have caused huge losses to the tournament.

However, late on Monday night, the Pakistan government informed about the change in its decision through social media and allowed the team to play against India. After this U-turn it became clear that the pressure on Pakistan was very high.

ICC’s warning changed the situation

According to media reports, the ICC had warned Pakistan in clear words that if it refuses to play the match against India, it may have to suffer huge financial losses. Apart from this, there was also a threat of sanctions on Pakistan. After this, ICC representatives reached Pakistan and an important meeting was held between officials of PCB, ICC and Bangladesh Cricket Board. After this meeting, Pakistan softened its stance.

The Pakistan government may have said that this decision was taken at the behest of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, but cricket experts believe that the real reason was the fear of financial loss and the strictness of the ICC.
