In the era of social media, fans immediately notice any small activity. Something similar happened with India’s star cricketer Virat Kohli, when discussion intensified on the internet regarding an alleged Instagram reel. It is being claimed that Kohli had posted a reel related to IPL 2026, which was deleted within a few seconds. After this, ‘Kohli’ started trending on social media platform X and fans started talking about this incident.
62 second reel becomes topic of discussion
At around 9:42 pm on Tuesday night, some fans claimed that they had received a notification of a new reel from Kohli’s official Instagram account. It is being told that this video was of about 62 seconds and Kohli’s training session was shown in it. Also, there is mention of IPL 2026 and their team RCB in the caption.
However, within a few moments this reel disappeared and many users started seeing the message “This content is no longer available”. After this, questions started arising among the fans as to why this video was posted and then why it was immediately deleted.
Speculation started on social media
As soon as the reel disappeared, a round of discussion started on social media. Many users claimed to have seen screenshots or screen recordings of the video. Some people say that this video was not original and may have been edited by some fan page. Within no time ‘Kohli’ started trending on social media platform X and thousands of fans started giving their opinion on this matter. Many people are calling it a promotional post before IPL 2026, while some users are also considering it as a technical mistake.
Same reel posted again
However, later the situation seemed to become clear when today Virat Kohli posted the same reel again on his official Instagram account. After this, fans believe that perhaps the first video might have been removed due to some technical reason or editing change. After the reel was uploaded again, many speculations going on on social media have come to an end.
This has happened before too
This is not the first time that Virat Kohli’s social media account has been discussed. Even before this, once all the posts from his Instagram account had disappeared for some time. At that time too, there was a lot of speculation among the fans, but later it was found out that it was a technical glitch.
