India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that due to Western Disturbance, the weather has been very bad due to snowfall and rain in some high altitude parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Today on Thursday (February 19), there is a possibility of rain in Uttar Pradesh and Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands of South India.
Delhi weather
Due to light drizzle in many parts of Delhi on Wednesday, the temperature dropped and the maximum temperature was around 21 degrees Celsius, 3 degrees below the average, due to which the weather became pleasant during the day. IMD has predicted cloudy sky and light rain in some areas on Thursday also. During this period, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning.
How will the weather be in UP today?
Due to light cold and moisture, fog may be seen in Noida, Lucknow and Prayagraj of Uttar Pradesh this morning, but as the day progresses, the sky will clear and there will be good sunshine. After the rain in the last few days, the weather now seems to be stable, which will bring relief to the people. The maximum temperature in Noida adjacent to Delhi is expected to be between 27 to 29 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature can go between 11 to 16 degrees. Due to light fog in the morning, visibility may be limited to 2 to 3 kilometers. The weather will be clear during the day but there is a possibility of 20-30 percent light drizzle. On the other hand, AQI is estimated to be between 150 to 200, which falls in the moderate to poor category.
The maximum temperature in Lucknow can reach 28-29 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 14 to 15 degrees. There is very little chance of rain and it is expected to remain sunny throughout the day. The weather will be almost similar in Prayagraj also. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 28 degrees and the minimum around 13 degrees.
Where can it rain?
According to IMD, light rain or drizzle may be seen in many districts of western Uttar Pradesh. The effect of western disturbance will remain on the hilly and plain areas for the next two days. There is a possibility of cloudy sky and light rain with thunder at some places in many districts including Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Baghpat, Shamli and Muzaffarnagar. Warning of lightning and hailstorm has also been issued at some places.
How is the weather in Bihar
The weather has remained stable in many districts of Bihar for the last three days. The maximum temperature is continuously being recorded around 31 degrees Celsius, while a slight cold is being felt in the morning and late evening. There is a feeling of heat during the day and slight cold at night. According to the Meteorological Department, this often happens in the month of February. Due to less activity of Western Disturbance and no major changes in wind direction, the temperature has remained stable. There will be no major change in temperature for the next 3-4 days but light winds may blow. There is no chance of rain at present.
