West Bengal Elections: Why did BJP MP Dinesh Sharma take the name of SP in Bengal? Humayun said on Kabir’s sting – ‘He is a big leader…’

Before the assembly elections to be held in West Bengal, political rhetoric has intensified. Meanwhile, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma has launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Dinesh Sharma alleged that Mamata Banerjee is sending her leaders to different places. He also gave a strong statement about Humayun Kabir and said that he is not a big leader, yet there is talk of giving him thousands of crores of rupees. He also claimed that Mamata Banerjee’s defeat in this election is certain.

Apart from this, Dinesh Sharma also commented about the alliance of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. He said that there is no real relationship between these parties, rather they all come together for their own benefit. Targeting Congress, TMC, Samajwadi Party and Owaisi’s party, he said that they appear different, but in reality they work with the same thinking. As elections approach, the political atmosphere is becoming more heated with such statements.

TMC leaders demanded investigation

Humayun Kabir is seen in the purported video claiming to have links with senior BJP leaders and making efforts to defeat Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the assembly elections. Trinamool Congress (TMC) shared the purported video at a press conference and demanded an Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation into Kabir’s claims of alleged closeness to Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Subhendu Adhikari, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma and the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

Trinamool leader’s allegations against BJP

Senior Trinamool leader and minister Firhad Hakim said that Kabir is working with BJP to mislead minority voters. Urging Kabir not to take the sentiments and sensitivities of the Muslim community lightly, he said the video exposes a ‘deep conspiracy’ hatched with the aim of influencing the election outcome in the state. Hakim alleged that in the video, Kabir was heard saying that raising the Babri Masjid issue would be more effective in garnering Muslim votes, even if it ultimately did not bear fruit.
