West Bengal News: The news of a painful road accident has come to light from Nadia district of West Bengal. A horrific motorcycle accident took place on National Highway No. 12 in Phoolia Prafullnagar area of ​​Shantipur police station area, in which two people died on the spot, while another person was seriously injured. The injured has been admitted to the hospital for treatment, where his condition is said to be critical.

Illegal cut-out became the reason for the accident

According to local sources, the accident occurred due to an illegal cut-out built on the national highway. There is neither any traffic signal nor traffic police monitoring on this cut-out. It is alleged that two motorcycles had a head-on collision in front of this cut-out. The collision was so terrible that there was chaos on the road.

A 58 year old man died on the spot in the accident. The deceased has been identified as Uttam Rajvansh, who was a resident of Belghadiya area of ​​Shantipur police station area. At the same time, another youth was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he died during treatment. The deceased youth has not been identified yet. Another person has been seriously injured in the accident, whose treatment is ongoing.

Sensation spread in the area, anger among people

As soon as the news of the accident spread, there was a sensation in the entire area. Local people say that they have been complaining to the administration for a long time regarding this illegal cut-out. They allege that due to the negligence of the administration, accidents keep happening here every day. People have demanded proper traffic arrangements on the national highway and immediate closure of illegal cut-outs.

This problem of road accidents is not limited to Nadia only. Last year, on December 30, a horrific bus accident took place in Bhandup area of ​​Mumbai. A bus of Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) lost control and crushed pedestrians. Four people died in this accident, which included three women and one man. At the same time, nine other people were injured.

Police engaged in investigation

According to Mumbai Police, the reasons behind the loss of control of the bus were investigated. Whether the bus was speeding, there was a technical fault or the driver faced any problem, all these aspects were investigated. Similarly, in the Nadiya accident also, the police is investigating the entire matter.
