According to the police, there was a dispute going on between Neeraj and his younger brother Dheeraj Jaiswal (53) regarding property for a long time. On Tuesday, the dispute escalated so much that a scuffle broke out between the two. It is alleged that Dheeraj, in anger, pushed and hit Neeraj, due to which he fell on the ground.

Neeraj got seriously injured after the fall. The family immediately took him to NRS hospital, but the doctors declared him dead. According to doctors, serious injuries to the head and body could be the cause of death. However, final confirmation will be available only after the postmortem report.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Park Street police station reached the spot. After preliminary investigation, the police arrested Dheeraj Jaiswal on Tuesday night itself under the section of involuntary manslaughter. The accused is being detained and interrogated.

Initially the case seemed to be a suicide, but the investigation revealed shocking things. Police found that Rohan was murdered by his elder brother Abhijeet Mandal. There was a dispute going on between the two regarding the sale of the flat. According to the police, Abhijeet had already taken advance to sell the flat, but Rohan was not ready for it. There was an argument between the two on this matter and in anger Abhijeet killed Rohan with a vegetable cutting knife.

After the murder, Abhijeet tried to mislead the police. He claimed that Rohan was under mental stress and had earlier attempted suicide. Not only this, he remained present at the spot even after the murder and also performed the last rites of his younger brother.
