West Bengal Second BJP Candidates List 2026: BJP released the second list of candidates in West Bengal, Roopa Ganguly also got the ticket.

BJP has released the second list of 111 candidates for the West Bengal Assembly elections. The party has changed the candidate from Bishnupur assembly seat. Apart from this, BJP also released the name of a candidate from Joypur in its list whom BJP is supporting. The party has given ticket to Roopa Ganguly from Sonarpur South. After announcing the name of Agnishwar Naskar from Bishnupur (SC), BJP has now given ticket to Viswajit Khan.

Former Union Minister got ticket

BJP has given ticket to former Union Minister of State for Home Nishith Pramanik from Mathabhanga (SC). The party has given tickets to Dadhiram Roy from Mekliganj, Laxman Limbu from Madarihat, Naresh Chandra Roy from Dhupguri, Kaushik Roy from Maynaguri, Anant Deb Adhikari from Jalpaiguri, Noman Rai from Darjeeling, Sabita Burman from Itahar, Sunil Chaudhary from Farakka, Chitto Mukherjee from Jangipur, Rana Pratap Singh Roy from Rani Nagar.

Shubhendu Adhikari’s brother got the ticket

BJP gave ticket to Subhendu Adhikari’s brother Dibyendu Adhikari from Egra seat. Sanat Sardar is the party’s candidate from the Sandeshkhali seat which has come into discussion across the country. Rekha Patra, the leader who emerged from the Sandeshkhali movement, has been fielded from Hingalganj. Party’s Yuva Morcha State President Indranil Khan has been given the ticket from Behala West West. Ritesh Tiwari has been given ticket from Kashipur Belgachia.

Mamta Banerjee vs Subhendu Adhikari

BJP announced the names of 144 candidates in the first list and 111 candidates in the second list. The party is yet to announce the names of candidates for 39 seats. Bengal elections 2026 are likely to revolve around Mamata Banerjee versus Subhendu Adhikari. BJP has given ticket to Shubhendu Adhikari from Nandigram and Bhawanipur. CM Mamata Banerjee will contest elections from Bhawanipur seat.
