PM Modi’s speech postponed a day earlier
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to reply to the motion of thanks on Wednesday (4 February 2026), but due to the uproar by opposition women MPs, Speaker Sandhya Rai adjourned the proceedings.
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari had said about this, ‘Many women MPs of the opposition entered the well of the House and moved towards the Prime Minister’s chair. Our senior ministers repeatedly explained to them that they should go to their places because PM Modi was about to come, but they ignored them. The Prime Minister could not enter the House as the situation in the House went out of control.
