Because, if there was shame, there would not have been so much shamelessness in the AI Global Summit going on in Bharat Mandapam in the capital Delhi that the purpose of the event is to talk about the innovations going on around AI in the whole world, the purpose of which is to talk about the future of Artificial Intelligence, the purpose of which is to improve the present through AI, even after five days of that event, the only thing discussed is that the people of Galgotias have ruined the country and This event has brought shame abroad because of its shamelessness.
The biggest objective of this AI summit organized in India’s capital Delhi was to create global rules to prevent deepfakes, cyber attacks and misuse of AI. Through this summit, India’s effort was to present an example to the world so that even the powerful countries of the world can realize that Artificial Intelligence is not the domain of developed countries only and India is also a major stakeholder in this AI. This was the reason that apart from representatives of big companies like Open AI’s Sam Altman, Google’s Sundar Pichai, Nvidia’s Jensen Huang, representatives of more than 100 countries including French President Emmanuel Macron and Brazilian President participated in this summit. More than 300 established companies and more than 600 startups got a chance to show live demos here.
What was discussed in this entire event? Galgotia’s act. First he bought a Chinese-made robot online, then participated in the AI ​​summit through that robot and then by showing the same robot, he claimed that Galgotias University has invested Rs 300 crore in AI innovation. But looking at the robot with which Galgotia came, any alert person could tell that it is the Chinese robot Unitree Go2, which a professor of Galgotia University is claiming to have been made by the ‘Center of Excellence’ of the university.
If this fraud of the university had been limited to India only, then perhaps it would not have been so blatant. But when China also started posting this robot on social media claiming it to be its own, things got worse from there. When Galgotias started getting criticized, instead of admitting their mistake, the university started covering it up and in this cover-up, by making 6 into 9 and 9 into 6, it created such a scandal that even the government had to intervene and then the university had to run away from the summit.
But when the people of the university uprooted their tents and left, they also took that Chinese robot with them. But in reality, he left the unique product which was made by the University’s ‘Centre of Excellence’ in the same summit itself. Because the product they made was a drone, which even a student studying in class five of any school could make better than that ‘Centre of Excellence’. After this original product came out, the remaining reputation of the university also got destroyed. Seeing the hue and cry all around, the university issued a clarification and put the entire blame on the professor under whose leadership Galgotias had set up his stall at the AI ​​Summit. In defence, the university even termed the professor as an idiot and said that she was not authorized to give media bytes.
So the question is who was then authorized? And where was the one who was authorized, who could tell if questions were asked about this product. Obviously, the university, whose owners were once jailed for fraud and loan default of Rs 122 crore, has no answer to this. And he was released after getting bail.
However, after such a big fraud, bringing a Chinese robot worth two-four lakh rupees and claiming it as one’s own and earning accolades is a small thing for Galgotias. Because all the questions that have been asked to Galgotias and its owner have either been asked by the media or by social media. Neither the Central Government, nor the Delhi Government, nor any official from the Uttar Pradesh Government has even given a notice to Galgotias for committing this fraud and ruining the entire AI Summit through this fraud.
Because if any government notice goes out, then the question will be raised from the government representatives as to which official, after seeing which achievement of Galgotias or which innovation of his, had allotted him such a big stall in that AI summit. After all, under whose supervision was that Chinese robot given entry in that summit after declaring it to be Galgotia’s own made robot? After all, who was that person who had opened the doors of AI Summit for the fraud Galgotia, who claimed someone else’s product as his own without checking anything? After all, who is responsible for this global humiliation of India at this AI Summit, which has not been identified yet.
Obviously there will be no answer to this. Because as much as Galgotias University is responsible for this international insult at the AI ​​Summit, the government is also an equal partner in that insult. Otherwise, our and your children have also made drones like Galgotia while playing. If this is AI innovation then our children should also get a stall in that AI summit, where they too can showcase their talent.
