There is a wave of mourning across the country after the death of Maharashtra Deputy CM and NCP chief Ajit Pawar in a plane crash. Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has demanded an investigation into the accident. On Wednesday morning, a small plane going from Mumbai to Baramati crashed during landing, in which a total of five people including Ajit Pawar lost their lives.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that there should be an impartial investigation into this tragic accident so that the causes of the accident can be known. Describing the accident as very serious, he stressed the need to fix accountability.
